A 32-year-old Woodridge man is being held without pre-trial release after allegedly sexually abusing a 15-year-old boy he met on Snapchat just hours earlier, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.

Christian Suarez Isoldi, of the 2400 block of Waterbury Drive, faces four counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. A DuPage County judge denied his pre-trial release on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

The case began when a friend of the victim called Woodridge police at approximately 12:39 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, requesting a well-being check. The caller told officers the boy was communicating about sexual acts occurring with a man, according to the State's Attorney's Office.

Police traced the boy to Suarez Isoldi's apartment complex on Waterbury Drive. Suarez Isoldi and another individual let officers inside the unit. Officers found the 15-year-old hidden in a bedroom closet.

Suarez Isoldi allegedly met the boy on Snapchat on Wednesday, June 3. Around midnight, after the boy snuck out of his house, Suarez Isoldi allegedly picked him up near the boy's home and drove him to his apartment, where the abuse occurred, authorities said.

"These allegations are extremely disturbing and will be met with the full force of the law," DuPage County State's Attorney Robert Berlin said in a news release.

Berlin urged parents to monitor their children's social media use, noting that apps like Snapchat are misused every day to target minors.

Suarez Isoldi's next court appearance was scheduled for Monday, June 29. The outcome of that hearing was not available as of publication.
