Midwestern University is pairing its annual Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine alumni reunion with a class-giving challenge that funnels donations toward student scholarships at the Downers Grove campus.

The reunion is set for Friday, October 16, 2026, from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace. All CCOM graduates are invited, with special recognition for classes whose graduation year ends in -1 or -6, such as the classes of 1986 or 2001.

Class-giving challenge

Before the reunion, the university is asking alumni to donate any amount toward scholarships and educational programs for current CCOM students. The deadline is Thursday, October 1. Every gift counts toward a class-participation tally, regardless of size.

The university's Office of Development and Alumni Relations described the challenge as a way for graduates to return the support they once received through scholarships, faculty mentors, and research opportunities. Donations can be made at midwestern.edu and are tax-deductible.

Noe Janus, manager of alumni relations at Midwestern University's Downers Grove campus, is coordinating the effort.
